The knowledge of Political Science become an intrigal part for all the citizen of the modern society. Since, 1971, with the establishment of Chatia College, the department of political Science has been rendering its service. It offers both honours and regular courses. The department has produced a number of good students with excellent results every year. The department tries to inculculate the knowledge of students in various field of political science, viz – political theory. Political thought, constitutional system of different countries of the world, Rural development, international relation, public administration, human right etc. The main objective of the department is to make everyone an efficient citizenship of our country.
