Gender Sensitization at Chatia College: Promoting Equality and Empowerment in Rural India

In rural India, gender inequality remains a pervasive issue that affects women and girls in various ways, from limited educational opportunities to social and economic exclusion. 3. Safe Campus: We have established a safe and secure campus environment for all students, including measures such as CCTV surveillance, security personnel at the gate, and a dedicated Grievance Redressal Cell to address any incidents of gender-based discrimination or harassment.
4. Women Empowerment Initiatives: We offer various initiatives to promote women's empowerment and encourage female students to pursue their goals and aspirations. These include facilitating scholarships via the NSP portal, mentoring programs, and leadership training programs, among others.
